Anti-Bribery & Corruption Policy.

Brigrads helps students reach universities on merit. Bribery and corruption have no place in that — not in our dealings with universities, not with government or visa authorities, and not with students and their families. This policy is our code of conduct. It applies to every director, employee, counsellor, contractor and agent acting for Brigrads, everywhere we operate.

What we prohibit

No one acting for Brigrads may offer, promise, give, request or accept a bribe — money or anything of value — to or from anyone, to win business, influence a decision, or gain any improper advantage. This includes facilitation payments (small unofficial payments to speed up routine actions), kickbacks from universities or sub-agents, payments to influence admission, scholarship or visa decisions, and inducements to students or families to misstate information. It applies whether the advantage is for Brigrads, for the individual, or for anyone else, and whether made directly or through a third party.

Gifts & hospitality

Modest, transparent courtesies (a meal at a partner meeting, branded stationery) are acceptable. Anything beyond token value, anything in cash or a cash equivalent, and anything offered around a pending decision must be declined and reported to the director. When in doubt, refuse and ask.

Our commission model — declared openly

Brigrads may receive placement commissions from partner universities and charges students the fees published on our Pricing page. We show students their genuine best-fit options — partner or not — and our advice is never conditional on a commission. Universities we hold contracts with are identified to students as partners.

Accurate records & documents

We keep accurate books and records. No one at Brigrads may create, use or submit forged or altered documents, false statements, or misleading information — for a student, a university, an authority, or Brigrads itself. Student accounts involved in forged documents are terminated under our Terms.

Reporting & protection

Anyone — staff, student, parent or partner — can report suspected bribery or corruption to conduct@brigrads.com, or through the in-app Messages channel. Reports are investigated by the director, may be made anonymously, and no one suffers retaliation for a good-faith report.

Consequences

Breach of this policy is gross misconduct: staff face dismissal, agents and partners face contract termination, and where the law requires it we report the matter to the authorities. We comply with the (Indian) Prevention of Corruption Act, 1988 and, where applicable to our university partners, the UK Bribery Act 2010 and similar laws in the destinations we work with.

Staff training & evidence

Every team member reads this policy at induction and re-reads it after any material change; each acknowledgement is recorded electronically with the person's name and date, and the record is retained in our audit log. Partner universities may request an extract of this training record as part of their agent due diligence — write to uni@brigrads.com.
